	Day	Description
	Day 1 Fri	USA/Cairo: Egypt Depart from New York (JFK) Airport on board Egypt Air non-stop to Cairo. Overnight on the plane, dinner and breakfast served on board.
	Day 2 Sat	Cairo: Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by an HLO representative and assisted through formalities, then transferred to your hotel for overnight.
	Day 3 Sun	Cairo: Pyramids, Sphinx, Sakkara & Dahshour Your Egyptian adventure begins in Giza, where you will tour the world famous Great Pyramids of Giza and the inscrutable Sphinx. After lunch at an Egyptian Style restaurant, proceed to the necropolis of Sakkara. This is were you will see the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, history's first stone building. Then continue to Dahshour a group of Five large pyramids including the "Red, White, and Bent Pyramids" of which the Bent Pyramid contains cedar beams imported by Lebanon - recently reopened to the public, 40 years after the army had turned the area into a base. Return to Hotel for overnight in Cairo. BB, L
	Day 4 Mon	Cairo: Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo Citadel Fortress, Mohammed Ali Mosque & Khan El Khalili Bazaar: The day begins at the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home to the vast treasures of Tutankhamen and a wealth of antiquities not matched anywhere in the world; then proceed to medieval Old Cairo where you will visit a 1,000 year old Christian Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. After lunch on your own, tour Saladin's Citadel Fortress, site of the magnificent Mohammed Ali Mosque, and then the exotic Khan El Khalili Bazaar for a taste of Egyptian Shopping through the many passageways! BB EVE: Optional Tour to the performance of the Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids of Giza.
	Day 5 Tue	Cairo/Aswan/Nile Cruise: Transfer to Cairo airport to fly to Aswan, for a 12:00 noon check-in, to spend four (4) nights and five (5) days on-board the Nile Cruise. Optional Tour to Abu Simbel - see one of man's greatest engineering feats: the relocation of two massive Ramses era temples after construction of the High Dam. The cruise program will be as follows (subject to change): Noon open seat lunch upon boarding your cruise boat followed by an afternoon visit to the Agha Khan Mausoleum by feluccas (small sailing boats). Overnight in Aswan. L, D
	Day 6 Wed	Nile Cruise: Visit the High Dam, the Old Dam, the Granite Quarries and the Temple of Philae. Sail to Kom Ombo. After lunch visit the Ptolemic Temple of Kom Ombo. Sail to Edfu. Afternoon Tea. Oriental Dinner followed by the Galabaya and Costume party. Overnight in Edfu. B, L, D
	Day 7 Thur	Nile Cruise: Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Sail to Esna. Visit the Temple of God Khnum in Esna. Sail to Luxor. Dinner & Overnight in Luxor. B, L, D
	Day 8 Fri	Nile Cruise: Visit the western bank of the Nile. See the City of the Dead, the Valley of the Kings and Queens and Temple of Hatshepsut. This was where the fabulous treasure of Tutankhamun, which fascinated the world, was discovered. Also visit the Rameseum Temple, Medinet Habu and the two colossal statues of Memnon. Afternoon Tea. Dinner & Dancing. Overnight in Luxor. B, L, D EVE: Optional tour - Sound and Light show at Karnak Temple, which involves some walking. (Time to be advised)
	Day 9 Sat	Nile Cruise: Visit the Eastern bank of the Nile, which includes: The Temple of Luxor with it's huge papyrus columns which was dedicated to the God Amon, Karnak Temple which consists of several temples of great beauty. Luxor and Karnak were once linked by an avenue of ram headed Sphinx. You will see where recent excavations are taking place to uncover this avenue. Transfer to Luxor airport for your flight back to Cairo where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax, shop or explore one of the safest cities in the world. BB
	Day 10 Sun	Cairo/USA: You will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your flight home and a lifetime of memories from Egypt, the Gift of the Nile. BB
