Day 2
|
Johannesburg:
AM: Arrive Johannesburg International Airport where you will be met and transferred to The Grace Hotel. The Grace Hotel is situated in the exclusive and fashionable Rosebank area, surrounded by boutiques, art galleries, art cinemas, high quality craft makers and mix of restaurants and clubs. All rooms have spacious bathrooms and separate showers.
Eve: Welcome Cocktail reception in the conference room followed by dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Johannesburg. D |

Day 3

Johannesburg/Skukuza - Mala Mala Camp:
AM: Transfer to Johannesburg airport for our scheduled flight to Skukuza, arrive Skukuza airport where you will be met and transferred to Mala Mala camp where you will spend the next two nights inclusive of all meals, game viewing activities and drinks. Buffet lunch. Afternoon game drive by lanrovers. Dinner will be served in the reed enclosed (Boma) under the African stars. Overnight. BB, L, D |

Day 4

Mala Mala Camp:
Early morning, game drive followed by breakfast, then relax around the pool, browse through the curio shop, or may be take a siesta to make up for that early morning wake up call 3:00PM: meet for tea at the verandah before starting your afternoon game safari. Overnight. BB, L, D |

Day 5
|
Sukuza / Johannesburg / Port Elizabeth - Plettenberg Bay:
AM: Buffet breakfast followed by transfer to Sukuza airport to fly to Johannesburg to connect with your flight to Port Elizabeth. Arrive Port Elizabeth, meet and transfer to Plettenberg Bay where you will spend the next two nights at Plettenberg hotel.
Plettenberg Hotel: is a Relais & Chateaux hotel, built on a rocky headland with beautiful view of the sea, sand and mountains. There are 40 superbly furnished rooms, each with a private bathroom , television & under carpet heating. |

Day 6
|
Port Elizabeth:
AM: Buffet breakfast, followed by a morning tour departing from Central Beach in Plettenberg Bay with an exciting beach launch that heads east past the bird sanctuary and Keurbooms Beach to Arch Rock where Bottlenose dolphins are usually encountered, the rare Indopacific Humpback Dolphins as well as some Shark species. Then we proceed into the middle of the bay where Pelagic sea bird are normally to be found 5 miles from the shore. Continue to the point of Robberg Peninsula and out to the wild side often seeing groups of whales and pods of Dolphins, going back along the inside of the Robberg Peninsula we will see the unique geology from this unusual viewpoint. Finally we will head back along the Robberg Beach down the coast to land at a pristine beach for a champagne picnic. Here, you can explore , look for Fish Eagles, swim, snorkel or simply bask in the sun. Return to the hotel for overnight. BB |

Day 7

Port Elizabeth / Cape Town :
AM: Buffet breakfast, followed by our departure to Cape Town, we will be traveling along the Garden Route through Tsitsikamma Forest Area, then we will stop in Knysna where we will visit the Big Tree ( A very old yellow wood tree in the area ). Continue, along Mossel Bay and Swellendam where we have our lunch, to Cape Town. Arrive to Cape Grace hotel which is Situated on the west quay of Cape Town's Victoria and Alfred waterfront and overlooking the new international yacht basin. It occupies the prime position in the Cape. The Cape Grace hotel provides the perfect link between the old city and the vibrancy of the waterfront, all rooms open on to views of Table Mountain. A welcome Cocktail ( Non-alcoholic ) upon arrival. Overnight. BB |

Day 8
|
Cape Town:
AM: Depart our hotel and drive along the Atlantic Seaboard coast, we will stop on the granite boulders where we have a magnificent views of the twelve Apostles along the Atlantic coast. We continue passing by a charming little villages and fishing harbor, we board a boat to see the mass of Cape Fur Seals on Duiker island. The Seals are predominantly males waiting until they reach sexual maturity. Continue driving on Champman's Peak drive which considered to be one of the finest scenic coastal drives in the world, we stop to view Long Beach then continue through the Noordhoek Valley passing by little villages on the Atlantic coast, and you might have the chance to see the Southern Right Whales mating & Calving between June and November. We enter the Cape of Good Hope, lunch will be served at Two Oceans Restaurant, after lunch spend few minutes enjoy the breathtaking view back towards Simons Town. Drive to the tip of the Cape Peninsula, then proceed to the Lighthouse at Cape Point overlooking False Bay. Continue driving to the Cape of Good Hope southern western most point of the African Continent. Drive along the False bay to Boulders Beach for an opportunity to study the only penguins found on the continent of Africa, the African Jackass Penguin. Continue driving through historic Simontown on our way back to the city with views of the fishing villages of Kalk Bay. Dinner on your own. Overnight. BB, L |

Day 9
|
Cape Town:
AM: Buffet breakfast followed by our departure from our hotel and drive to district Six where some sixty thousands people were forcibly removed from in the 60's . Today it stands empty and people used to lived in harmony in spite of their different race, color and religion. We continue driving across the Cape Flats, where the non-white inhabitants of district Six and other areas were placed. Here people were segregated according to color, religion or ethnic background. Also we will stop at the brick making project for locals. We continue to the Cape wine lands where lunch will be served. After lunch, drive to the wine land region nestled below the spectacular Boland Mountains about 5o minutes drive from the city. Estates visited vary and are selected after discussing personal preferences: Examples are: Uitkyk, Warwick, Moreson, Mont Rochelle for fine red & white wines and Glen Carlou or Fairview for wine & cheese tasting. Visit valley of the Huguenots where the French first settled in 1688, also we can explore Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in the country. Late afternoon return back to our hotel for overnight.
6:30 Eve: Transfer to the Africa Cafe Restaurant for an authentic African welcome dinner. Overnight. BB, L, D |

Day 10

Cape Town / The Blue Train to Pretoria:
AM: Transfer to Cape Town Station where you will board and spend one night on the Blue Train.
The Blue Train: each coach has a professionally trained butler whose pleasure it will be to ensure your journey is as memorable and comfortable as possible. Butlers are available 24-hours a day for the duration of journey. Individually controlled air-conditioning, remote controlled television, internal telephones, room safes and hair dryers are standard in each compartment. Day 11

Pretoria/Johannesburg/USA:
PM: Arrive at Pretoria Station where you will be met and then continue by private coach via a short Pretoria Orientation tour to the Palaeo Anthropological sites of Sterkfontein, Kromdraai and Swartkrans, where excavations have been in progress for the last 30 years. After the visit transfer to Johannesburg International airport for your flight to USA. |
